A new page by me!

Although I have been working really hard on the designing I also am a big scrapper. I love it. It makes me happy. My latest page that really made me happy was one about my sister. She competes in Loggersports - or lumberjack competetions. She is super strong and the coolest chick I know. Here is what I made after a competition last weekend.

I used all Ellie Lash products on this page - Chocolate paper pack, Dotty Element made into an overlay from Coyote Kit, and the coolest new alpha, Alpha Dots! They are great and with a little outlinig from me they look just like logs!

I am working on a couple of new giveaways so I will be back later in the week with more stuff for everyone!

Nature Walk Part 2

As I mentioned yesterday I was working on a challenge for this Nature Walk kit and out of the greens and browns there was a really pretty blue. It didn't fit into the kit that I was working on but I did a little mini mini kit for everyone to share!

Nature Walk Freebie (Part 1)

I found another monthly color challenge at a site that I was not familiar with. It is My Scrap Shop Members Design a Kit Challenge.

The theme this month was Nature Walk and they had a beautiful color palette. I used a lot of greens and browns in my kit but they also had a beautiful blue color too so I ended up making 2 kits. Check back tommorow for that one, it will be part 2!

To Stick or Not To Stick - You Decide! New Freebie!

Here is my latest freebie offering. I just finished my kit for the color challenge at Benevolent Boutique. I made 5 solid and 6 patterned papers. They have a high texture on them but I think I like it. I also made a bunch of elements and I couldn't decide if I wanted them to be plain or stickers so I made both! I decided to call this kit "To stick or not to stick - you decide!" It is a bit of a long title!

Dirty Grungy Rock Star! Freebie!

Since I am trying to become a digidesigner, I have been taking every challenge for design that I can find. Tonight I just finished my entry into DSO's color challenge. For those of you who don't know you are given a color scheme and you can either make a layout or a mini-kit. This is the first time I have ever don't this challenge so I hope it goes well. Feel free to download this one, it is in two parts for easier downloading. I would love to hear back from any of you that actually use it!

Nothing but White Freebie

So as I mentioned in my previous post I was scrapping away at the speed scrap over at Scrap Matters on Thursday night. These are great fun and a way to break out of a creative rut by challenging you to try something that you might not have thought of before. One of the first rules that we had to follow this week was we had to scrap on a white background. I thought that this would be easy but when I looked in me stash I realised that I didn't have any actual white papers. I have a lot of off white and a lot of cream but no actual white so I had to make a paper for my layout. Then I thought I would make a couple more and pop them in here for you all to add to your stash just in case you ever need a really quick white paper. Enjoy and leave me a note if you grab it. My Dream Gig!

This week I got the biggest thrill of my scrapping life when a little old designer called ELLIE LASH asked me to be on her new CT! Me Me Me! I could have peed myself I was so excited!I mean, yes, I have been stalking her like crazy and yes I did keep telling her that she should pick me if she ever needed anyone but honestly I never thought she would actually give me the chance to be on her team. I am so happy I could do a happy dance! So thank you Ellie for this chance!

Also, I was over at Scrap Matters at the speed scrap last night. Those things are so much fun. Last night I made one of my favorite pages ever. It turned out great. And it also inspired me to do a bit of creating so I am going to be making a bit of a treat in the next couple of days! Keep on the lookout. Here is the page that I made last night. Backyard Playground - ADSDesigners

For the past month I have been working with a bunch of aspiring designers who have been amazing and we have made a collab kit called Backyard Playground that is free for anyone who wants it!
