Boy, where do I start! Well first off Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day! I would be alot more excited if I didn't have to work all day and miss all the fun activities. I tell you I am going to be over at Scrap Orchard as soon as I am home tonight and the kids are in bed! They have some fun things planned for all day and man oh man do I wish I could be there.

Long time No Blog... again!

Hello again everyone,
I know, it has been awhile again but this time I have a great excuse. I have started selling at a store! I am now at Scrapdish and am loving it there. Everyone has been super helpful and friendly. So I hope you all take minute to peruse what I have in the store and see if there is anything that you might like to buy! As a matter of fact I might just stick something at the end of this post for all of you faithful followers of this boring old blog... a bit of what is in one of my new kits... "Twilight", and no it doesn't have anything to do with the book!

Choo Choo - Another blog train stops here!

Hey there everyone,

I have been so bad with blogging that there are probably none of you left looking here but just in case you are still reading - I have a wonderful freebie for you!

ADSD September Blog Train - Cornucopia of Colors

So for the past few months I have been working on my designing skills and the best place that I have found to do that was with the Aspiring DigiDesingers Group. Each month we do a great big freebie blog train kit for all of you that want it!

Bad Blogger but I'm back with a Freebie!

I kind of have been a bit lazy the last couple of weeks. I have had a lot going on around home and I haven't blogged in a while. But I am back now and I have a little freebie for you all! I have decided to apply to a store - I am just not sure where. The one that I wanted to join doesn't seem too interested so I think I have to shop around! Beachy Keen - Mini Kit Freebie

Hi there, I love the start of a new month because that brings all sorts of new scrappy challenges. Now that I am doing some designing there are even more challenges for me to try my hand at. A new page by me!

Although I have been working really hard on the designing I also am a big scrapper. I love it. It makes me happy. My latest page that really made me happy was one about my sister. She competes in Loggersports - or lumberjack competetions. She is super strong and the coolest chick I know. Here is what I made after a competition last weekend.

I used all Ellie Lash products on this page - Chocolate paper pack, Dotty Element made into an overlay from Coyote Kit, and the coolest new alpha, Alpha Dots! They are great and with a little outlinig from me they look just like logs!

I am working on a couple of new giveaways so I will be back later in the week with more stuff for everyone!

Nature Walk Part 2

As I mentioned yesterday I was working on a challenge for this Nature Walk kit and out of the greens and browns there was a really pretty blue. It didn't fit into the kit that I was working on but I did a little mini mini kit for everyone to share!

Nature Walk Freebie (Part 1)

I found another monthly color challenge at a site that I was not familiar with. It is My Scrap Shop Members Design a Kit Challenge.

The theme this month was Nature Walk and they had a beautiful color palette. I used a lot of greens and browns in my kit but they also had a beautiful blue color too so I ended up making 2 kits. Check back tommorow for that one, it will be part 2!

To Stick or Not To Stick - You Decide! New Freebie!

Here is my latest freebie offering. I just finished my kit for the color challenge at Benevolent Boutique. I made 5 solid and 6 patterned papers. They have a high texture on them but I think I like it. I also made a bunch of elements and I couldn't decide if I wanted them to be plain or stickers so I made both! I decided to call this kit "To stick or not to stick - you decide!" It is a bit of a long title!

Dirty Grungy Rock Star! Freebie!

Since I am trying to become a digidesigner, I have been taking every challenge for design that I can find. Tonight I just finished my entry into DSO's color challenge. For those of you who don't know you are given a color scheme and you can either make a layout or a mini-kit. This is the first time I have ever don't this challenge so I hope it goes well. Feel free to download this one, it is in two parts for easier downloading. I would love to hear back from any of you that actually use it!

Nothing but White Freebie

So as I mentioned in my previous post I was scrapping away at the speed scrap over at Scrap Matters on Thursday night. These are great fun and a way to break out of a creative rut by challenging you to try something that you might not have thought of before. One of the first rules that we had to follow this week was we had to scrap on a white background. I thought that this would be easy but when I looked in me stash I realised that I didn't have any actual white papers. I have a lot of off white and a lot of cream but no actual white so I had to make a paper for my layout. Then I thought I would make a couple more and pop them in here for you all to add to your stash just in case you ever need a really quick white paper. Enjoy and leave me a note if you grab it. My Dream Gig!

This week I got the biggest thrill of my scrapping life when a little old designer called ELLIE LASH asked me to be on her new CT! Me Me Me! I could have peed myself I was so excited!I mean, yes, I have been stalking her like crazy and yes I did keep telling her that she should pick me if she ever needed anyone but honestly I never thought she would actually give me the chance to be on her team. I am so happy I could do a happy dance! So thank you Ellie for this chance!

Also, I was over at Scrap Matters at the speed scrap last night. Those things are so much fun. Last night I made one of my favorite pages ever. It turned out great. Backyard Playground - ADSDesigners

Speed Scrap

So last night I went to my very first speed scrap over at Scrap Matters and let me tell you that is one fun place! It was crazy - but I scrapped a page that I really like and I can't wait to go back again for another one. And to top it all off there was a great little Ellie Lash mini kit for participating! Who wants a Freebie - Orange Polka Dot Alpha

My new header

This is my new header - I made it with Alphas from DoodlesNDimples Designs and papers and elements from Sueli Colbert. I love it.
